Kanifing Municipal Council to Launch Operation Sanity on January 27, 2025.
The Kanifing Municipal Council under the visionary leadership of His Worship Talib Ahmed Bensouda will launch Operation Sanity on January 27, 2025. This operation is aimed at enforcing the Council’s by-laws and addressing various issues such as nuisance, removal of sand and gravel, private sewage pipes, disposal of products, and hazardous substances.
It is important to note that Operation Sanity has nothing to do with road clearance. The focus of this operation is solely on upholding the Council’s regulations and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all residents of the Kanifing Municipality.
We encourage all residents to cooperate with the Council during this operation and ensure compliance with the by-laws.
Together, we can create a cleaner and healthier community for everyone.
The council is using this opportunity to encourage all residents of KM to clear any nuisance, sand, or sewage and all hazardous substances that may have violated the by-laws. This could avoid a person being found wanting of a charge in accordance with the by-laws.
