KMC Retreat Underway on Strengthening Governance and Service Delivery
The Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC) today, Saturday 28th March 2026, commenced its 2-day Retreat for Councillors and Directors, under the theme:
“Strengthening Local Governance and Service Delivery in Kanifing Municipality.”
The retreat brings together Councillors and senior management to reflect, engage, and strategize on key issues including governance, financial management, service delivery, and institutional strengthening.
This important engagement provides a platform to enhance collaboration between the political and administrative arms of the Council, while charting a clear path towards improved service delivery for residents of the Municipality.
The retreat will climax tomorrow, Sunday 29th March 2026, with the adoption of key recommendations and way forward for the Council.
