KMC at FIAC/PA 2025 – Strengthening Sister-City Bonds

The Lord Mayor, Talib Ahmed Bensouda, was invited to this year’s Festival International des Arts et de la Culture des Parcelles Assainies (FIAC/PA). Although he could not attend in person, he was ably represented by a strong KMC delegation comprising Councillors Habib ML Ceesay, Fatoumata Kanyi, MC Cham Jnr., Nenneh Freda Gomez, and the Clerk of Council.

Also in attendance were the National Assembly Member for Latrikunda Sabiji Constituency and Mr. Tobaski Sibi.

The delegation was warmly received by Mayor Abubakar Djamil Sane’ of Parcelles Assainies. They also had fruitful exchanges with several dignitaries, including the Mayor of Dakar, Abass Fall, and other mayors from across the region.

KMC and Parcelles Assainies are proudly connected through a sister-city agreement, signed to foster stronger cooperation in arts, culture, education, and other areas of mutual development.
