KMC Represented at The Africa Urban Lab (AUL) – Zanzibar
We are proud to share that our very own Director of Planning and Development, Nyima Camara, is currently attending the Africa Urban Lab (AUL) training in Zanzibar, a prestigious continental programme bringing together urban policymakers and professionals from 15 African countries.
During the AUL Public Talk, participants from Senegal, Rwanda, The Gambia, and Mozambique shared powerful insights on urban governance challenges and the innovative ways their cities are navigating rapid urban growth.
With over 50 students in this cohort, the AUL continues to build the next generation of African city planners, urban leaders, and development practitioners — equipping them with the skills to shape smarter, more resilient, and more inclusive cities.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Pan African Institute for Municipal Development (PIMD) for supporting Nyima’s participation in this important training. Their commitment to building local government capacity across the continent is truly commendable.
KMC is proud to be part of this transformative journey as we strengthen our capacity to deliver better services and build a future ready Municipality.
