Municipal Aids Coordinator presents Branded T-Shirts to the Mayor's Office

In a significant gesture towards raising awareness and fostering community engagement, the Municipal AIDS Coordinator for the Kanifing Municipality recently visited the office of the Deputy Mayor to present specially branded T-shirts and Caps dedicated to World AIDS Day 2023.

The symbolic presentation took place at the office of the Deputy Mayor, and the branded merchandise was subsequently handed over to the office of the Lord Mayor. It is noteworthy that the World AIDS Day 2023 commemoration in The Gambia occurred at the office of the Governor of the West Coast Region in Brikama. The overarching theme for this significant event was “Let Communities Lead.” This act of solidarity and recognition underscores the commitment of the Kanifing Municipality to actively participate in global initiatives aimed at addressing the impact of HIV/AIDS. By presenting these branded items, the Municipal AIDS Coordinator not only commemorates the occasion but also encourages a collective approach in which communities play a pivotal role in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
