Kanifing Municipal Council holds Police Promotion Ceremony

KMC holds Police Promotion Ceremony for the first time in 7 years (since 2014) with 34 officers receiving promotions. KMC Police have grown from 40 personnel from 2018 to over 200 personnel under this new council. Mayor Bensouda pledges to increase councils commitment toward resourcing the police with both personnel and equipment to help improve order and security with the Kanifing Municipality.

The Mayor also appeals for more collaboration with central government to ensure safer communities.
