Mayor BENSOUDA meets Ambassador Richard Carlton Paschal III of The United States at the Ambassador’s Residence.
The meeting was to familiarize the ambassador of KM region socioeconomics and the Councils role in development and potential areas of support from the US.
Amongst the topics of discussions were youth’s role in development, challenges of Decentralisation and the mayor’s aspirations for the municipality .
The US Embassy recently supported the KMC with PPEs worth D765,000 for the fight against COVID 19 and also held a weeklong training for KMC Staff on GIS.
