Bartez Councilor in China for High-Level Seminar on Rural Poverty Reduction.
The Kanifing Municipal Council is proud to inform residents that Councilor Ousman Darboe, representing Bartez Ward, is currently in China attending a high-level Seminar on Rural Poverty Reduction for Officials from Belt and Road Initiative Countries.
Councilor Darboe’s participation is made possible through the support of the Chinese Embassy in Banjul.
The seminar, organized by the Guangxi International Business Vocational College, runs from October 10th to 30th, 2025, and brings together participants from several partner countries to share knowledge and strategies for reducing rural poverty and promoting sustainable development.
