Mayor Bensouda donated Three Hundred Thousand Dalasi (D300,000) to Waste Pickers Association, Tricycle waste collectors’ association and Donkey Cart Association!
In fulfilling of his yearlong promise to the Waste Pickers Association, Tricycle waste collectors’ association and Donkey Cart Association, Mayor Bensouda donated Hundred Thousand Dalasi (D100,000) to each of them, totaling Three Hundred Thousand (D300,000), to support these associations.
In a show of solidarity with the Lord Mayor, Kanifing Municipali Council under its abled CEO, Pa Sait Ceesay donated Fifty Thousand Dalasi (D50,000) to support KMC staff at the Dump Site.
This initiative is geared towards improving the environment and waste management at the Dump Site by motivating the workers there.
