Kanifing Municipal Council to Conduct Registration of Religious and Cultural Groups The Kanifing Municipal Council’s Religion and Culture Unit is set to embark on a comprehensive data collection and registration exercise for all religious, cultural, madrassas, and choir groups within the municipality. This initiative aims to streamline communication, enhance collaboration, and foster a closer relationship between the Unit and these diverse community groups. By registering these organizations, the unit, which is under the Department of Administration, will be better equipped to carry out its functions effectively and efficiently. This proactive approach will not only facilitate smoother operations but also promote a more cohesive and harmonious community environment. The registration process is designed to be inclusive and collaborative, with the ultimate goal of strengthening community ties and promoting cultural diversity within the municipality. We encourage all relevant groups to participate in this important initiative. The process will commence on the 20th of July 2024 and end on the 10th of August 2024.
