The Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC), in collaboration with the National Road Authority (NRA), is pleased to invite sealed bids from qualified and experienced contractors for the design and construction of a road network within the jurisdiction of the Kanifing Municipality. This significant project, aligning with international standards of procurement and construction, will be carried out in accordance with a Design and Build procurement method and executed in three distinct lots.

Project Description:

This ambitious project encompasses the design and construction of a comprehensive road network, following the pre-financing contract model (FIDIC EPC/Turnkey: Fixed Price). It aims to enhance the infrastructure within the Kanifing Municipality, thus significantly contributing to its development and accessibility.

Scope of Work:

– Detailed design and construction of trunk roads and drainage system.

– Compliance with specified quality and safety standards.

– Implementation in three lots under a fixed-price contract.

Bid documents can be obtained from the Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or the Procurement Manager upon payment of a non-refundable fee of D25,000.

– Proposals must include financial bids, technical qualifications, and proof of previous experience.

– All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, as specified in the tender documents.

-Bid should be in two Sealed separate marked Envelopes for the Financial and Technical Proposals with 2 originals and 1 photocopy with a soft copy in a flash drive.
