Today, the vibrant halls of The Gambia College Arts Gallery welcomed Lord Mayor of Kanifing Municipal Council, Talib Ahmed Bensuda! Despite his busy schedule last week, Mayor Bensuda made it a point to personally visit the gallery, following up on the exciting Arts Exhibition he couldn’t attend. Welcomed by Vice Principal Madam Isatou Ndow and esteemed faculty members, Mayor Bensuda’s visit symbolizes his deep commitment to fostering creativity and cultural appreciation in our community. Madam Ndow warmly acknowledged the Mayor’s dedication to the arts and highlighted the abundance of talent within the College. Mayor Bensuda accompanied by the Business Councillor at KMC, MC Cham Junior and the Religion and Culture Officer, Sanjally Kanyi, equally appreciative of the warm reception, pledged unwavering support to the Arts department, emphasizing that his office doors are always open.
