KMC Demolishes Old Structures in Mbari Pa Dembo ,Serrekunda Market to Construct new kiosks for Vendors Who lost their Shops in Street Clearing Exercises

The Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC) is tearing down Mbari Pa Dembo structures in Serrekunda Market to make way for the construction of new market kiosks. These kiosks aim to provide a new space for vendors who lost their shops during street clearing exercises.

The demolition of Mbari Pa Dembo is part of plans to undertake redevelopment or construction projects to improve infrastructure and address the need for spaces to accommodate displaced vendors during the Clearing Exercise.
