Mayor Bensouda participates in the launching of Zero Waste Initiative a Catalyst to Achieving the SDGs hosted by UNEP-IETC

The Global Waste Initiative, introduced by the COP27 presidency, has garnered support from UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme). The aim is to reduce waste by 50 percent by the year 2050. The initiative emphasizes achieving greater resource efficiency through circular economy models, which, in turn, can significantly propel us toward meeting the Sustainable Development Goals.
