The Deputy Mayor Attended the Official Opening of the Emergency Operation Centre of the Gambia Red Cross Society
The Centre which is funded by the European Union, the International Federation of the Red Cross and the Spanish Red Cross Society is situated at its Kanifing headquarters and boast modern technology that would enhance the operational efficiency of the GRCS.
The event was attended by high ranking dignitaries including the UN Resident Coordinator, Secretary General of the IFRC, Director of Health Services amongst others.
