Government through an Executive Order forcefully trying to Illegally Break into an Office at Kanifing Municipal Council

As Councilor’s overlook and as GALGA leaders including GALGA president Landing B Sanneh and mayor of Banjul meets next door, Gambia Government via ‘executive order’ are currently trying to illegally break into an office to forcefully install the CEO against Council resolution .

10 officers with operatives from Ministry of Local Government have accompanied Mrs SAINABOU Martin Sonkho to break into an office of their choice to place the CEO against council wishes.

This is not only a breach of protocol and jurisdiction but a sad day in governance and democracy.
