KM Africell Park Officially Opened

KM -Africell Park was officially open today at traffic lights, the Africell sponsored park consists of a Basketball court, and an outdoor gym. Similar sporting facilities will be replicated across the Kanifing Municipality, to be facilitate by the Kanifing Environmental Transformational Program. Other replicas of this park will not only accommodated basketball courts and outdoor gyms but also 6 aside football fields, and children playing grounds.

The opening ceremony also saw the Mayor and CEO of Africell Hussein Diab Ghanem to an entertaining friendly hoop game which the Mayor won by 3 to 1.

With foundation stones already laid for Bakau and Tallinding community center there are few more of these multi-purpose sporting facilities to go.

The Park which is located right opposite the fuel station, will be open to the public next week.
