Kanifing Environmental Transformation Programme Planted 5000 mangroves in Cape Point Bakau
The Kanifing Environmental Transformation Programme(KETP) In collaboration with the Bakau Environment Movement (BEM), planted 5000 mangrove at Cape Point. The project will plant 190, 000 tress over the period of three years in all the 19 wards of the Municipality to improve resilience, biodiversity, air quality, and increase the quality of life of its residents.
A similar exercise was also carried out at the Old Cycle track in Kotu were 1000 trees provided by the project were planted by All Gambia Forestry Platform (AGFP) on 27th August, 2022.
