Mayor BENSOUDA Hosts the The KM President’s International Award today and awards 500+ silver and Bronze Awardees.

The President’s International Award (PIA) in The Gambia is a challenging educational programme
for all young people.

With Bronze: For those 14 years and over, up to age 25

Silver: For those 15 years and over, up to age 25 and

Gold: For those 16 years and over, up to age 25.

Every year, many thousands of young people across the world participate in The Award Programme. The Gambia has one of the best participation rates in Africa. The criterion for gaining an Award is individual improvement through persistence and achievement, taking into account the individual’s initial capabilities and without any element of competition between participants.

Over 1000 people attended todays colorful activities alongside the Mayor and Minister of Higher Education Professor Pierre Gomez.
