The Finance Committee has eight (8) members comprising three (3) Councillors, three subject matter specialists and two (2) Ex-Co members. All the subject matter specialists are non-staff of the Council. The CEO sits in the Committee as an Ex-Officio member.

TERMS OF REFERENCE OF THE COMMITTEE
The Committee is mandated to:
- reviewing the estimates of the Council;
- considering and making recommendations on any financial matter to be laid before the Council;
- offering advice on the fiscal policies of the Council;
- keeping under review the financial policy of the Council
- and advising the Council on the policy; and
- such other functions as the Council may delegate or assigned.
The Committee meets once every month unless required otherwise.
