Kanifing Municipal Council Holds Second General Council Meeting

Second General Council Meeting was held today at the council chamber and constitutes 13 committees of council to guide council activities in the coming term.

The Committees brings together individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and expertise who will share the responsibility of the committees to fosters transparency, accountability and plays a significant role towards the Municipality’s growth and development.

The committees consist of :

2) Appointments & establishment

3) Finance

4) Accounts

5) Development

6) Ward Waste

7) Arts Culture and Foreign relations

8) Revenue

9) Education

10) Contracts

11) Environment and Sanitation

12) Markets

13) Agriculture
